construction of your new home. Once you have chosen
your homesite, floor plan and architectural style,
our Design Consultant will contact you to schedule
the
necessary
appointments
for your home's selection of personalized features.
Our
Design Consultant will meet you in BT
Homes' beautiful new Design Center, a
showroom showcasing the selections available
to customize your home. The Design Center is
available by appointment only.
 Your
first appointment will be with a Design Consultant
to choose structural features for your new home
and should occur within two weeks of signing
your sales contract. These options appointments
are generally 2 hours long and will cover selections
such as plumbing, lighting, and appliances. A
Design Consultant will then arrange for you to
meet with each of our Team Partners for additional
selections.
Our
Team Partners will contact you to set up your
appointments, which will also take place in our
Design Center. We encourage you to come to your
appointments prepared with a list of notes or
questions, as not to forget any details important
to you. We advise that you do not meet with two
or more Team Partners in one day.
Colors
and Luxury Features
Each
home built by BT Homes has a large number of
luxury features that can be purchased. Many
popular choices are tile, cabinets and carpets.
Our Design Consultant
will arrange a meeting with one of our partners
to help you choose the selections that are
just right for you.
During
this meeting you will pick your cabinets, tile,
vinyl, countertops, carpets, and plumbing upgrades.
Although this may not sound like many things
to choose, during the meeting there are hundreds
of possible color combinations and variety of
choices. Give yourself a couple of hours for
this meeting so you can truly make your home
stand out and reflect your own unique style and
taste.
Landscaping
 Congratulations
on your new home! Our landscaping contractor
will provide the landscaping for your new home
and looks forward to working with you in creating
an outdoor living space that will be as enjoyable
and maintenance free as your new home.
After
meeting with a BT Homes Design Center representative
you will be scheduled to meet with a landscaping
representative to discuss your included landscaping
package and possible additions to beautify your
yard. Your meeting will last between
30 minutes to an hour.
Low-Voltage
 What
is the best way to pre-wire a new home for video,
audio, voice, and data?
The
most effective way to provide wiring in a new
home is to use a structured wire system. If you
are looking for a fully integrated home system,
BT Homes has partnered with a low-voltage contractor
to meet all of your electrical, alarm, central
vac and home theater needs.
A
meeting with our low-voltage representative
will be arranged by your BT Homes Design Consultant.
At this meeting, you'll be shown all of the latest
features in home low voltage wiring. Electrical
upgrades will be arranged during your meeting.
Your meeting will typically last between 1 -
2 hours, depending on your needs.

Features
One of the most exciting and enjoyable experiences of building a new BT home
is visiting our state-of-the-art Design Center where you select your home’s “look.” Our
Design Center is not open to the public — just BT Home buyers. So when
you’re here, consider yourself one of an exclusive group.
From
the moment you walk into our Design Center, you’ll
be impressed. Designed with a variety of showroom
displays, it has everything you’ll need
to make your home selections. The design center
allows you to personalize your interior and exterior
color
selections, landscaping, accents, kitchen and
bathroom fixtures, lighting, tile, cabinetry,
flooring, security and communications systems,
etc.
Because
everything is located under one roof, you won’t
have to run around town from store to store choosing
your home features. You’ll find your experience
here to be very simple, time-efficient and fun. |
